Another Crazy Night

We had a storm Saturday night (October 8). At around 10pm, the wind and rain blew down one of the branches on a tree in our yard. The branch landed on our power and cable wires and pulled them right off the house. Daddy had to call the police because the wires were all across the road, and the policeman was parked outside (with lights flashing) throughout the entire night.

We lost cable, phone, and Internet (much to Daddy's unhappiness) but we did have power. So if you're trying to call us, you might not be able to reach us. (We're still waiting for Cablevision to show up!) But don't worry; we're all okay. (In fact, here's me sleeping through it all!)
