A Mellow Christmas
Our Christmas was much more mellow than planned but probably the happiest (and most blessed) Christmas ever.
In the very early morning of Dec 23, my Dada had something called a heart attack. I was sleeping so I didn't know much about it, but he was in the hospital for a few days. Thankfully, we had a lot of family out for the holiday to watch me especially since Mama spent most of her time with Dada in the hospital.
Like a true miracle, Dada came home on Christmas Day. I missed him so very much. Every time the door opened I thought it was him. We waited for Dada to open our presents. And we laughed at my bewilderment of the Elmo TMX. Mostly we just enjoyed being together as a family again. We're all so tired too...it was good to just be together and relax.
There is nothing in the world that beats the Christmas gift of having my happy and healthy family all together.
Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year to everyone!
(Note from Mama: "Thank you to everyone for your love, support, and prayers! Ed's doing okay on his road to recovery, albeit, understandably tired. Please keep us in your prayers!")
