Fun With Movement

On Monday, March 5, Mama and Dada got me dressed for bed a little earlier than usual. I wasn't too happy about that because I wasn't tired yet. But then all of a sudden they whisked me up and brought me to the car. (How strange!) And the next thing I knew, we were at the library. I'm used to the library because we go there sometimes for different programs for kids my age...but I've never been there this late.

Mama and Dada helped me walk down the stairs to the basement and when we got there---WOW! There was music and toys and all kinds of things to play with. I had so much fun. The biggest fun for me was when I actually befriended another daddy who was playing catch with his daughter (who looked to be about my age). I immediately took to him and decided to round up all of the balls---especially the basketballs---in the room to give to him...repeatedly. Every time I found a ball or even a new toy, I searched the room for that daddy to give him the toy. Mama and Dada had a good laugh about that with the daddy and said something about how "now we have a back-up babysitter." ;) I also met an older girl who had the same name as me, which is funny because I met another girl with the same name as me too at the park this weekend. (And here I thought my name wasn't that common!)

Anyway, we left a little early because I was getting tired. When I came home, I almost immediately went upstairs to go "Night night." But what a fun surprise to end the day!
