The "U Pick" Farm

Here I am playing at one of our favorite farms. The sign there said "U Pick Berries," and that's what we did. We picked two buckets of blueberries. I was very good at spotting and picking only the ripe ones. And MOST of what I picked made it into the bucket (but some made it into my belly!).

Much to Mama's disappointment, the battery on the camera died shortly after these pictures were snapped (and before berry-picking). But to give you an idea of what we did in addition to picking: we shopped for local produce at the farm (yellow watermelons!), I waved to a horse and I played on this tractor and a few other fun things at the farm.

My FAVORITE thing of the day was watching and waving to BEES! That's right! The farm had a glass enclosure of bees making honey. I was so excited to see the bees. Mama and Dada had to take me back many times to see them, "feed" them my pretzel, and show them our blueberries afterwards.

I can't wait to go back! What a jam jamboree!
