Girls' Day Out
Dada had his all-day draft for his fantasy baseball league, so Mama (who I now have started calling "Mommy" some days) decided it was a good day for a "Girls' Day Out." First, Mama, Erin, and I went to a big mall. We went to a special store where I picked out a doggie and got to dress her whatever I wanted to dress her and got to wash her and comb her. While I did that, Erin slept in the car seat (which sits in our new double stroller).
After the mall, we headed home (Erin and I fell asleep in the car). We had lunch at home, and then headed out again. This time we went to our local library to pick out new videos. While I played puzzles with Mama at the library, Erin slept in the car seat/stroller.
Next, we went to the food store ("eat store") where we picked up marshmellows, popcorn and soy milk. The marshmellows were for me, the popcorn for Mama, and the soy milk for Erin (Mama is starting to drink soy milk because Erin gets an upset tummy sometimes and Mama thinks that she, Mama, needs to drink less real milk. You see, Erin drinks "Mama milk" from Mama.). While I helped Mama shop, Erin slept in the car seat/stroller.
Finally, we got home, put a bunch of blankets and pillows on the floor in the living room, and set up our snacks for "Movie Night." We watched Cinderella II and then Aladdin. While I watched the movies with Mama, Erin...well...Erin woke up, had her Mama milk and then snuggled with us.
We then ate ravioli (Mama and me, that is. Erin has no teeth--or "teef" as I call them) and ended the night around bedtime, when Dada arrived home.
I had such a good "Girls' Day Out" that I hope we all do it again really soon! Unfortunately Mama says she needs a little rest before the next one. :)
