Another Tooth for Baby

Erin got her second tooth in on October 17. That's two teeth on the bottom right next to each other.

Mama says that she feels a third tooth on its way through up top.

I can't believe how big my baby sister is getting! She's a little more than 8 months old now! That's crazy!

Erin is very good standing all by herself. She just needs someone or something to balance her. But she can stand for about 5 minutes by herself.

Mama thinks that Erin is going to skip the crawling stage and go right to walking. Although Erin now likes to sleep on her belly, she doesn't really like to be on her belly. She pulls back her arms, legs and head away from the floor so that only her belly is touching the floor. Mama calls it Erin's "sky-diving move" because it looks like that.

Erin is napping really well these days. She still doesn't sleep through the night but is getting better. She now naps 2-3 times a day, usually in her crib but sometimes in the car (especially when dropping me off to school).

I have so much fun with Erin. Mama says that no one makes Erin smile like I do. That makes me happy. Baby smiles and laughs a lot now. She even claps her hands for me. She's a very good audience! (And I LOVE an audience!)
