Celebrating Mardi Gras/Pancake Day
Today (Feb 20) is a special holiday---one of Mama's favorites and one that you might not even know about.
In some countries (like Ireland, United Kingdom, Australia and Canada), it's known as "Shrove Tuesday" (or "Pancake Day"). In the U.S.---particularly New Orleans---it's Mardi Gras (literally, "Fat Tuesday"). This holiday is always the Tuesday right before Ash Wednesday and the start of Lent.
In honor of this day, Mama made special pancakes for dinner tonight. And she even colored them green, gold and purple---the official colors of Mardi Gras.
It was a funny dinner! And yummy!
Happy Pancake Day!
Merry Mardi Gras!

P.S. As of last Saturday, I no longer drink from bottles! (YAY!) It was a very smooth transition to my new Disney drink cups (see pictures).
