My activity mat has lots of things to look at and play with...including a parrot and a mirror that shows me...well, me! Here I am playing this morning.

I rolled over all by myself today (December 9). This morning, Mommy put me down for some tummy time and almost as soon as Mommy put me on the mat I rolled over from my tummy onto my back. She clapped her hands and cheered; she was so happy and surprised. (And from the looks on my face a few moments later, I was surprised too!)

4 Months Old

I'm 4 months old now...can you believe it?!?!! Mommy and Daddy can't. I have my 4-month check-up next week and I'm sure that I will share any news with you. (Rumor has it that I get more shots--OUCH!) Oh, well, it is for my own good.

"Play Date"

That's the trendy name for a get-together with other mommies and other babies.

Mommy and I met four other mommies and babies through a class that Mommy signed up for right after I was born. Well, Mommy still keeps in touch with the other mommies, and they email each other and get together occassionally. Last Friday, we got together for a looooong lunch with three of the mommies and babies. While Mommy and the other mommies swapped stories about coupons, baby health updates, etc., we babies (me, Brandon, Garrett, and William...that's right, I was the only girl there!) just took it all in and stared at each other. Well, what else do you expect 4- and 5-month-old babies to do?! Still, I was very content for the entire 3 hours that we spent there. Mommy says we'll get together with them again soon.
