I Like This Christmas

Despite my face in the picture (taken at school right before our Christmas party), I really had a lot of fun this Christmas. I *so* was into opening presents. What fun! I think the actual ripping open the presents was as much fun as playing with the new toys inside! Still, I got a lot of great toys, books and clothes. I made sure to say thank you to everyone...even Santa (which I pronounce "San-tee").
Mama and Dada opened presents with me early on Christmas morning. It was our special time together. And before I unwrapped a present, I looked at it, held it up, turned to Mama and Dada and said, "I don't know what this is." And they said, "Well, open it." And I would cheerfully reply, "OKAY!" before methodically peeling the wrapping paper.

I really liked everything about Christmas, from the visits with relatives to the late drives with Ma and Pa to see Christmas lights to the beautiful Christmas tree in our living room to the baking of the Christmas cookies and more!

Christmas Cookies With Ma

Mom cut the cookies and showed me how to put sprinkles on them. Then we baked them and I gave them to Mama, Dada, and Pa to eat. I was so excited that everyone liked our special cookies. It was fun making them.
