We're Not in Kansas Anymore...

or ever, for that matter.

But apparently I slept through a freak tornado that ripped through our area on August 25. No one I know has ever experienced a tornado, and here it is that I slept through one! I did hear the chunks of hail hitting the windows and the 80mph winds wiping through the trees, but I was just so tired---I barely lifted up my head! It was just so dark in the house---it was perfect for "night night" time.

And when I woke up, I saw TRUCKS! LOTS AND LOTS OF TRUCKS! (By the way, I absolutely love trucks---the sights, the sounds, the lights, etc!)

I made Mama prop me up by the window to watch the trucks "eat" all the branches on the ground and carry the men to fix the wires. All I wanted to do was watch the trucks. It was just so exciting on an otherwise sleepy Friday.

Baby is Sick

I have my first ear infection. I can't sleep. My throat hurts. My nose is drooly.

Thankfully, I went to the doctor's and got some medicine. I don't like to take it, but I know that I should.

Mama is sick now too, so Grandma and Grandpa L are helping out a lot. (Thank goodness.)

It's My Party!

Actually, it's my SECOND party. This time, we spent the day with Mama's family. I played a whole lot with my little cousin, Ryan. Since the party was at my house, I got to show Ryan all of my toys. We even played chase with each other!!

And Grandma L made me another cake. Thanks, Gram!
