Happy Birthday to My Daddy!

Daddy took a day off from work today (Feb 21) because it's his birthday and he wanted to spend extra time with his family.

The first thing on Daddy's list: taking a walk with me around the neighborhood.

You have to love the Daddy-Daughter bonding!

6 Month Check-up

I hate shots, did I ever mention that?!? And did I also mention that I know that I'm going to get shots as soon as Mommy and Daddy start to put me down on the examination table?!?!! That's right---and I let the doctor, Mommy, Daddy, and the whole entire doctor's office know that I hate being there. (Boy, do I!!!)

But the shots are done now, and the Baby Tylenol helped to ease my discomfort. The doctor says that I'm doing real well, and now clock in at 18.5 pounds and 27.5 inches long. I'm in the 98% percentile when it comes to height---one long baby!

The doctor said that this is the time for a lot of developmental stuff to be happening, and she is right. I'm rolling over all of the time now, no longer wanting "binkies," drinking out of my sippy cup, eatingfruit and veggies, and sleeping about 8-10 hours at night without waking. Everything is happening so fast now, and I like that!

Finger Foods

And when I say "finger foods" I mean that my fingers are food! (Just kidding.) Again, it's the teething. My one tooth is almost all the way out and so anything that will make my gums feel better---including chewing on my fingers---is in!
