Celebrating Halloween at Gym
I take a gym class every Saturday morning (I've been doing it for about 2 months now). On Oct 28, we were asked to dress up in our costumes for class to take pictures. So I did.
Unfortunately, it was a very rainy and windy day so only 2 of my classmates made it to the class with me (usually there is 8 of us total). But our teacher, Miss Gail, made it fun anyway. Miss Gail ALWAYS makes it fun!
I love gym class!

A Nice Fall Day At the Park...Chasing "Ducks"

Mama and I went out early this morning (Oct 25) to the park to walk around the lake and play in the playground. Although I enjoyed the walk and swinging in the swings, I REALLY enjoyed trying to make the "ducks" (okay, geese) my friends.
As soon as I saw them, I started running to them and waving my hand "hello." Unfortunately, they ran away.
So, I got my sippy cup and after taking a swig, I ran to them to offer them some water from my sippy. Unfortunately, they ran again.
So...well...I chased after them. Surely they didn't understand that I just want to be their friend.
And then they ran onto the sand at the playground. And I stopped.
I hate sand and decided that it wasn't worth it to walk on the sand to get to the ducks.
But I was pretty diappointed. I'll just have to try harder next time!
New Friends, New Places

Mama got involved with another group of Mommies. (Though we still hang out with our "old" group of Mommies and Babies, all of the Mommies except "Mama" have returned to their regular jobs. Mama, as you may remember, does freelance and works from home while watching me.)
Here I am during one of our playdates. It was an inside playground. I met up with 4 other toddlers that were a little older than me. But I held my own, now that I walk, climb and run really well.
I'm also quite assertive with the big kids; afterall, I'm just a big kid in a little body!
