ACORNS!

One of my new favorite outdoor activities is to collect acorns. I put them in cups and buckets. I line them up and count them. I show them to Ma.

Here I am on the hunt for acorns. I get so excited that Mama and Dada can barely keep up!

Me and "Daph"

This is me and Daphne (who I call "Daph"). She used to be very afraid of me, since I was a baby. She used to run and hide when I came in a room. But I have learned how to pet nice and how to move slower and how to whisper. Now we are the best of friends. She often sits with me (and vice versa).

Here I am reading and telling her all about my Thomas trains. She likes that. And she also likes to snuggle.

One Rainy Day + No School = Chuck E. Cheese!

Mama took me to Chuck E. Cheese today. We had pizza and played a lot of games. Usually I play the little kid games and the ones where I get tickets (and I get A LOT of tickets. It makes Mama laugh when I land on "125 tickets!"). But today I climbed up on a SUPER BIG game meant for older kids.

Just as Mama was trying to help me down, one of the workers there came by and said that he would put it on for me just to see.

Well, that was all it took. I was HOOKED. It was a game where I was a pilot of a jet and I had to fly around other jets and mountains. Without any help, I got up to level 3!! NO KIDDING! I wouldn't let Mama help me. She was laughing so loud! But then I crashed...and I wasn't too happy about that.

Mama said I can't play again until I am older because it isn't exactly "age-appropriate" (whatever that means), but I still had a lot of fun!
