Playdate at Miss Lisa's House

Here I am with some of my first friends---William, Brandon, and Garrett. I am the youngest baby (but only by a few weeks) and the only girl.

Unfortunately, the mommies didn't take pictures until it was time to go home and all of the babies were very tired. Still, we all had a lot of fun, especially the mommies!

Oh! And I tried veggie puffs (kind of like cheerios) for the first time. I wasn't too sure about them, but I only tried two. Mommy said that she will buy me some different kinds to taste. I like that idea!

DJ Leah and the Activity Mat

I learned today (March 2) how to turn on the music on my activity mat ALL BY MYSELF. I'm now turning over all the time (front to back, back to front). Flip, flop, flip, flop! And I just happened to flip (or flop) onto the music part. Well, I then saw the dial and I turned it ALL BY MYSELF! And, wouldn't you know it, the music started to play! WOW!

The Perfect Push-up!

Mommy says that it is a big deal that I can do a push-up. Mommy says that I'm on the way to learning how to crawl!! (Shhh! Mommy doesn't know that Daddy is already trying to teach me that!)

Laptop

Mommy and Daddy just learned that I think the word "laptop" is the funniest word ever! I couldn't stop laughing as Mommy kept repeating the word.

(Go figure.)

When I Grow Up

I'm not sure WHAT I'll be when I grow u, but it's sure fun trying to figure it out!

Some days I think I'll be...

...a hair stylist, because I love to play (and pull) Mommy's hair

...an English professor, because I love to read books (at least, I'm a good listener when books are read to me)

...a telemarketer, because I love to talk on the phone

...an explorer with the National Geographic Society, because I am very curious and love to learn about the world around me

...a CEO, because I'm always trying to get up and get going as if I have a really important meeting to go to

...a librarian, because I think it's hysterical when people whisper

...a manager at an animal shelter, because I like to keep tabs on those funny kitties

But today, as you can see by the pictures, I think I'm going to be a yoga instructor!

The Tale of Two Teeth

Another tooth is out! And this one went better (no feeling warm, no fussiness, etc.)

Now I have my two bottom front teeth, and I'm ready for munching! People laugh because I stare and shake my fists in excitement when I watch someone eating real food. This baby food is okay but I'm holding out for filet mignon!

Happy Birthday to My Mommy!

Daddy took the day off to watch me so that Mommy could go shopping and do whatever she wanted to do, by herself. I'm not insulted; sometimes shopping is just easier (and quicker) without me. Plus, I got to spend time with Daddy---which is great!
