Do Play With Your Food!

I am nowing eating tiny finger foods for babies. I really like my fruit and veggie "puffs." They are the size of cheerios but they dissolve quicker in my mouth. I love to see Mommy get excited when I eat my puffs. It makes me like them even more.

I can pick the puffs up with my index finger and thumb but I haven't quite mastered dropping them into my mouth. I just hold them in my fist, and shake them around.

I'm much happier opening my mouth and letting Mommy feed me the puffs. Then I chew while smiling big, and Mommy claps. Sometimes Mommy will eat one too (much to my delight)! Mommy laughs even longer than me; she thinks it's cute that I look for her reaction to see if we are having fun. (And we are!!)

Here I am AFTER we finished with the puffs. ("But, Mommy, I don't want the fun to end.")

Greatgram's Birthday

On Sunday, March 26, we got together with Mommy's family for bunch to celebrate my Greatgrandma S.'s birthday. Here I am with Uncle Robert and Aunt Lisa then with Mommy and Greatgrandma S.

Nap Time?!? We Don't Need No Stinkin' Nap Time!

I am staying awake for longer stretches of time (~4 hours), and napping usually 3 times a day. Mommy thinks that I'll be down to 2 long naps a day very soon (maybe this week!). That just means more time awake and playing...and that, as you can see, is fine by me!

Words That I'm Happy to Know

I really light up when I hear the following words:

"Baby"
"Leah"
"Mommy"
"Daddy"
"Kitty cats"
"I love you"
"Boo"/"Boop"/"Booper" (all nicknames of mine)
"Mush" (means that Mommy is going to tickle my tummy)
"I eat the baby!" (means that Daddy is going to tickle my tummy)
"Push it through" (means to help push my arm and hand through a sleeve or jacket arm)

Sometimes I get excited when I hear "Night, Night" (it means that it's time for naptime or bedtime), and sometimes I get upset because I do not want to go down to bed.

I also laugh at:
buzzy bee sounds
when someone hiccups
a dog barking
the kitty cats meowing
when someone blows raspberries with their tongue

And I also remember songs that Mommy sings to me, and rhymes about body parts, and stories that Mommy makes up like my socks being eaten by a fox in a box, and when I'm asked, "How big is the baby? (This BIIIIIIGGGGGG)"

Yeah, I lead a silly life...

...and I love it!

Anything and Everything Within My Reach

I grab it, examine it, shake it, and sometimes put it in my mouth. Not even Mommy's camera or glasses are immune! Mmmwwaahh--haaahaaa!
