Sick, Again?!! (Addendum)

It looks like my head-to-toe rash was an allergic reaction to the antibiotic that I took last week for my ear infection, not the vaccines. (Yeah, did I mention that I had an ear infection on top of everything else??)

It seems that I am allergic to penicillin (which makes sense since both Mama and Dada are allergic to it too). Still, the doctor said that it was the worst allergic reaction rash that she's seen, so maybe I have a DOUBLE allergy to it---one from Mama and one from Dada. :)

It will surely be the last time that I take THAT medicine!

Sick, Again?!!

This morning (September 4), I woke to a rash over my entire body. At first, Mama and Dada suspected that it was chicken pox. They called the doctor and learned that it wasn't chicken pox (different kind of rash and symptoms) but an allergic reaction to another of the shots that I had 3 weeks ago. The one for measles, mumps and rubella. (You can see the rash on my face---trust me it's a lot worse in person and it's all over!)

It should go away in 2-3 days. But for now, all I want to do is be held, take nice soothing oatmeal baths, drink my milk and watch my video.

Being sick stinks.
