Caution: Teething in Progress
Watch out! Erin is teething (and has been since she was 3 months old). No teeth yet but she's already chomped on things that she shouldn't, like:
* My Chewbacca figurine
* Mama's Blackberry
* A tissue
* The remote
* My hair
* Mama's hair
* A wipe
* A book
* Barbie
She tried to grab and chomp on Fenway's tail but we caught her in time. We convinced her that her thumb or a binky were better options. (She agrees.)
Bye Bye Summer!
It's been a really cool summer. All of my cousins were here everyday. It was like having a constant playdate right in my backyard! We played so many things (Star Wars, making a movie, house, hide and go seek, Barbies, video games, etc), but the best part was just having so many fun kids to play with. Now everyone is back to school. That makes me a little sad but, then again, I have school too. (And I like school.)
Erin Naps...Finally!
Erin is now getting to be a very consistent and content napper...finally.
It was rough for a while. Erin was so intent on learning and being awake that she would not nap for more than 3 ten-minute naps and sometimes even less. It was hard on everyone. But, despite that, I still always am so good with my little sister. I never get mad at her and just want to play with her.
Now that she is napping more, she is happier. And now that she is sitting up and interacting more, I've fallen in love all over again...with my little sis!
(By the way, I told Mama the other day that I like Erin's eyes. I told her that they "look like blueberries." What do you think?)
My Special Birthday Party!
Finally, I was center stage for my very own birthday party. I'm 3 now!
I had all of my friends from the "mommy group" and my cousin Ryan come to a place that is a big inside playground. We played on "every-fing" and then they sang happy birthday to me and I got toys. The day was, in my own words, "pretty fun!"
In the Pool

I became a good swimmer this summer. I wear a bathing suit (I say "seething boot" for some reason), my lifesaver (so I don't go "down down" in the water) and a little float around my waist. When those are on, I can go in the water all by myself...as long as an adult is watching me.
I dance in the water, I splash, I play with "Poo poos" (my word for water guns, and well, any toy blasters), I swim and race around.
I can swim really well now!
