My First Pigtail

I really don't like anything in my hair and never have---no clips, no bows, no headbands, and no pigtails.

But Mama wants me to really try wearing pigtails because she said it is very hot outside and it will make me feel cooler. Plus, says Mama, it's really cute.

Last night Mama and Dada nearly wrestled me to the ground to get me to wear a pigtail (haha!). Today, I fussed a little but let Mama do my hair.

Beautiful Weather

The weather has been so nice. This summer has been full of playing in Ma's pool, picking pretty flowers, blowing bubbles, buggy walks, puddle splashing, jumping in the sprinkler and enjoying our big backyard.

In fact, Mama and Dada bought me my birthday present early so that I can enjoy it now. It's a playhouse for the backyard! I love it!
