Mommy Goes Away! :(

Mama had a business trip this week. We did not see each other for three whole days. I was very sad about that (but not as sad as Mama!).

The only good thing is that Dada took off from work, and I got to play with him morning, noon and night. We had so much fun!! Dada took me for lots of walks in my buggy. We also played two of my new favorite games---"Chase" (Dada crawls after me and I quickly crawl away squealing) and "Godzilla" (Dada makes a tower out of blocks and I hurry over and destroy the tower).

It's just too bad that Mama wasn't here to see all the fun that we had!

Shake, Rattle and Swim

Wow! It's a manic Monday.

First, I had music class. I am usually shy with new people but was front and center as the librarians sang to us with cute little puppets. I even got to play with bells and peekaboo scarves!

Then it was off to my very first swim class. I was the youngest child there (by a lot). I even had my very own lifeguard! (Her name is Mary.) Today was all about introducing us babies to the water. I got my own little rubber duckie from Mary. I was so into it that I didn't mind sitting in the wading pool, having water dripped over my head, and all of the splashing. And the whole time, Mommy and Mary were sitting right next to me in the pool. We even sang songs and did dances in the pool at the end of the class. It was so much fun!

But, wow, was I tired!?! I fell asleep right in the car seat (in my bathing suit)! Thankfully, we were very close to home. Zzzzzzzzz.

(Notice that I'm sitting forward-facing in the car seat now? Well, that's because I'm a big kid now! And I have a new passion while riding in the car: pointing at, watching, and laughing at the ever-changing traffic lights. Ya gotta love 'em!)
