The Month of February

(First, let me give a "shout out" to Rebecca, Vicki, and Jillian...who may be the only ones still reading this since I haven't posted here in a long, long time. Hi, cousins!)

It sounds silly to say that we've been busy but I promise that it's true. February was a month of a lot of firsts. Here's a run down.


First time I joined gymnastics (I LOVE it...especially the trampoline!)


First time that Mama and Dada were away over night without Erin and me. (Ma and Pa watched us.)

First time Erin tried daycare. She's really taken to it; the teachers of her "baby class" say that she is very mellow, loves to learn and is very good with the other kids in the class. Yep! That sounds like Erin!

First time Erin started walking---albeit, with help. A week before her 1st birthday, she started walking, largely due to Dada and Pa's coaxing.

First shoes---for Erin, that is!

Erin first starting pointing to communicate (not just signing)


Greatma's first visit to the aquarium (I helped to show her around!)



and, well, Erin's 1st birthday! WHEW! That is a lot of firsts.



We also celebrated 4 other birthdays in February---cousin Joey's, Pa's, Mama's, and Dada's. I had cake for all of the birthdays (and yes, Erin's cake was green as evidenced by the smooshed cake on her face!). And Joey even had a pool party! It was so AWESOME (my new favorite word).


February was so much fun...and so very busy! But since it's the end of March...I guess I better update you on that month too. Yikes! I will soon!
